Frequently asked questions
How do I see entries from past days?
Open the Today tab and scroll the streak grid sideways to the date you want. Tap that date and the four intentions for that day open in place. Tap Back to Today when you're done.
Can I edit an intention after I've set it?
For today's intentions, yes, tap the row to open it, edit the text, and save. You can also tick or untick the completion checkbox on any past day if you marked something wrong. The intention text itself locks in once the day has rolled over.
How do I change reminder times?
Settings → Reminders. Set a morning and an evening reminder, or turn either off.
How do I back up my data?
Settings → Backup and Restore. Export saves a file you can stash in iCloud Drive, Files, or anywhere else. Restore brings it back in.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Two ways, pick whichever is easier:
- In the app: Settings → Manage Purchases. Opens a page where you can change tier, restore a purchase, or cancel.
- Through Apple: App Store → your profile photo → Subscriptions → Grit Method.
I forgot to set intentions yesterday. Did I lose my streak?
If yesterday is the only day you missed, you can still catch up. Tap yesterday's date in the streak grid on the Today tab, that takes you back to yesterday's view, where you can check off what you actually did. (The Today tab also shows a reminder banner when yesterday is empty.) Past that, a missed day breaks the streak. That's the point.
